Image #678 shows someone wearing what looks like uniform number 94 but I can’t find him on the Dodgers’ site. Can someone tell me who that is?
What’s the deal with the Army ad covering up part of the photos?
Congrats to Jon on his 25 years as Dodgers photographer! I worked for the L.A. Dept. of Water & Power for 32 years and one of my co-workers was Pete SooHoo. I was wondering if they were related.
Thank you Brian. Yes, my father was Peter SooHoo. Unfortunately he passed away in November after a long battle with cancer. I am happy you got to know his work side as this was a side my family and I never got to see. Take care. Jon
Jon:
My sincere condolences on the passing of your dad. He was a great guy!! Everyone liked him and he was a friend to everyone he met! I remember that one of his favorite places to have lunch was Monsing restaurant in Chinatown where he always ordered chicken chow mien with black bean sauce. It wasn’t on the menu, but they made it special for him. It was one of my favorites too. Unfortunately Monsing’s is no longer there. It was run by a nice family that had a couple of daughters who worked there while going to school. One was going to USC as I recall. Anyway best of luck to you. You have a strong resemblance to your dad and I’m sure you share his other positive traits as well.
