2/16/14-Something Historical–“Tiger!” Remembering Rod Dedeaux by Jon SooHoo

In honor of Rod Dedeaux, whose statue is being unveiled today on the campus of USC, here are some of my favorite images of Tiger. Rod was kind enough to invite me to ride on the Tiger Train from Chicago to South Bend for the USC-Notre Dame game where Rod would scream out that the Trojans would “Pillage the Village and Crush the Irish!”

I got an invitation to be there but had to decline since I already had plans to be at Camelback Ranch. Thanks for the picture yesterday Jon. Your pictures are great. Love the tribute to Rod. I used to love going to the Dodgers vs USC at Dodger Stadium back in the days.
