Jeff Idelson, President of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, said, “We are so pleased that LGH19 Productions has chosen to produce a live event from Cooperstown next August, which will benefit the Hall of Fame and help honor its 75th year. Cooperstown is renowned for baseball. This event will allow music, movie and baseball fans to come together to celebrate in Cooperstown, just days after the 2014 induction ceremony.”
Robert Wuhl will MC the event at the Hard Rock Cafe, which will detail the plans for the live event, talent, and promotional partners. He will introduce celebrities, former MLB players and Hall of Famers. Jeff Idelson, Peter O’Malley, Tommy Lasorda, Larry King and Lee Mendelson, Executive Producer for Peanuts TV specials, are among others who are expected to attend.
Wuhl will then introduce Loren Harriet of LGH19 Productions, who will speak more about the year-long silent auction, the live event and organizations participating. They include Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, which has produced limited edition Baseball Hall of Fame Fender Stratocaster guitars, Peanuts Worldwide and Charles M. Schulz Creative Associates, which has created 75 limited edition Baseball Hall of Fame Peanuts Posters, as well as Charitybuzz, which will host the silent auction. The live event will also celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Little League Baseball, as well as other iconic baseball organizations including American Legion Baseball and Minor League Baseball.
