The 1995 All Star game in Arlington, Texas was my first and only All Star game. The importance of being there was having five Dodgers on the All Star roster-Mike Piazza, Todd Worrell, Jose Offerman, Raul Mondesi and Hideo Nomo. The day before the game is always hectic with media day, batting practice and team photos. MLB Photos Head Rich Pilling was gracious enough to allow me to not only assist him with his light set-up but also let me get what I traveled from Los Angeles to get which was the five Dodgers together after the team shot was completed. Not all team photographers or media photographers are allowed out onto the outfield during the team photos but Rich took care of me(Thanks Rich!). Tony Gwynn was walking by while I was shooting my five and he wanted to get in the photo. Really? Awesome! Then as Barry Bonds was walking by, Gwynn told him to get into this picture which is when Bonds gave me the look in the top photo. They all posed and smiled and to this day it is one of the coolest moments of my career and one of my favorite images even beyond the photo of the five Dodgers.
